·      Cophenylcaine forte

·      Warmed fastrach

·      MacGill’s forceps

·      Video laryngoscope with hyperangulated blade

 

Performance:

Pre-medicate

·      Midazolam 1.5mg

Topicalise

·      Cophenylcaine forte 10 sprays

Pre-oxygenate

·      Until etO2 80%

Induction

·      Propofol 2.5mg/kg

·      Rocuronium 1.2mg/kg

·      Alfentanil 15mcg/kg

Bag mask vent

·      Just in case

Intubation

·      Pass ETT into nasopharynx

·      Insert laryngoscope

·      Guide ETT using MacGill’s

·      Expect depth 29cm male, 27cm female
